My experience in Punta Arenas

The truth is, before going there, I had a boring image of the city, I thought it would be like any other port or coastal city in Chile, with sea lions and that it would be raining every day. When my parents told me that they wanted to go there to know, I refused because I had another idea of my vacation, but I started to investigate to find interesting things to see. One of the important "attractions" that this city has is the trip to Isla Magdalena, where the Magellanic penguins reside. To get there you must hire a ferry tour from a tourist agency and sail for two hours to get there. With my family we decided to plan the trip, to get to know as many places as we could, including the penguins. Contrary to what I thought, I found a very welcoming city with unbelievable landscapes.
